On September 28 and 29, 2017, the Forum for Development Cooperation in the Northeast Asia Region was held in Moscow. The Forum was organized by the Office of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) in cooperation with the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Service (RANEPA). The partners of the forum became China International Development Research Network (CIDRN), Japan Society for International Development (JASID), Korean International Development Cooperation Association (KAIDEC). The forum was attended by representatives of the academic community, international organizations, as well as of the Russian authorities.
The discussions were based on the issues related to the socio-economic development of the countries of the Northeast Asia region, as well as on the regional programs aimed at helping countries to solve their economic problems. Following the results of the forum, the speakers developed a set of recommendations for key stakeholders.
The forum was attended by experts of EDSG as speakers and discussants.
